It conglomerates all the methods and disciplines in traditional and authentic yoga that can be practiced by any and all practitioners, and it is for any specific or broad goal. Samagra Yoga is an integration and balance of asanas, pranayamas and meditation. The preliminary goal is not just our physical body, but our mind – awareness, focus, attention and concentration. It is a whole, entire and complete practice for everyone (all ages, all gender, all culture) who loves yoga.
It was after her mum’s suggestion, Rita started her first Yoga class in 2000. Rita considers herself blessed to have studied with many fabulous Yoga teachers including Richard Jan Anderson, Maurice Mettler, Will Lau and Lawrence Pradhan while in Hong Kong. She has furthered her Yoga training and practice with Lianne Metcalf at her SomaChi Yoga Studio since she moved to Melbourne in 2010. Lianne inspired Rita to start her Yoga teachers’ training and Rita became enthralled with the philosophy of Yoga as a way of life. In August 2012, Rita started her first teaching class in Bentleigh, Victoria, Australia.
Rita enjoys her life. All these years in Melbourne, she is working as both an accountant and a Yoga teacher. For the last 2 decades, Rita has attended many training and workshops with world renowned yoga masters : Andrey Lappa, Jani Jaatinen, David Life, Sharon Gannon, Ana Forrest, Sri Dharma Mittra, Desiree Rumbaugh, Simon Borg Olivier, Seane Corn, Sarah Powers, Lois Nesbbit, Michael Besnand, Loraine Rushtoy, Markus H Giess, Joan Hyman and Jani Jaatinen.
Thank you, all the Yoga teachers in my life bring me to this path.
